About

RIGHT NOW: This year, more than ever, life has become harder for many of those among us who were barely scraping by before.  And many people are out of work for the first time in their lives, wondering how long they can hold on when there’s no work to be found.

Wickenburg Community Services Corporation, with the funding from the Vi Wellik Foundation, the Pulliam Foundation, and donations from our neighbors, provided the means to purchase enough food for some good holiday meals. On December 19, 2009, we distributed Bashas’ vouchers to 333 families living below 125% of the federal poverty level: 678 adults and 850 children living in Wickenburg, Aguila, Wittmann, Morristown, and Congress. Families also received a bag of hygiene products, thanks to the Vivian Arnao & Family Foundation.

We know that times are tough, but we know, too, how generous the members of this community are when need presents itself.  Any contribution that you are able to make will go directly to aid folks of very limited means in the Wickenburg area.  Please be a part of our holiday project with your donation.

Best wishes for health and happiness throughout the coming year!
